Student Interest Group in Neurology

The Student Interest Group in Neurology (SIGN) program is a network of 130 chapters in medical schools across the United States and Canada which was begun by the American Academy of Neurology (AAN).

neuro-logo.gifSIGN fosters medical student interest in neurology by providing opportunities to participate in clinical, research, and service activities in neurology, and increasing the student's neurologic knowledge. Student members of SIGN are eligible for free AAN membership and may also apply for national SIGN scholarships.

November 16th - Epilepsy Walk, community awareness day
November 30th - screening a Scrubs episode “My Musical” and case discussion with intro to Seizures and Epilepsy
March 2nd - announcing new officers, short film screening on Foreign Accent Syndrome

American Academy of Neurology Awards

The American Academy of Neurology (AAN) awards acknowledge significant achievements in neurology by medical students. Recipients may receive financial rewards, special presentation opportunities, and/or transportation to the AAN annual meeting.
